The team of the LIFE project ‘Patches & Corridors - A Habitat Network for the Violet Copper’ is organising an international symposium on 22 and 23 May 2025 entitled ‘Violet Copper, Climate Change and Nature Conservation’, to which we cordially invite you.

The talks will focus on the occurrence of Lycaena helle in different regions of Europe as well as perspectives of butterfly conservation against the background of climate change. Two excursions will lead to typical habitats of the Violet Copperin the Northern Eifel. The event will be held in two languages (German and English) and will be simultaneously translated by an interpreter. The venue will be the Aukloster in Monschau (Aachen region).
