Life "Patches & Corridors“ excellent example of the UN Decade

They call for a halt to the ongoing degradation and destruction of ecosystems around the world and for the restoration of degraded ecosystems.
As part of the UN Decade Project Competition, the Federal Ministry (BMUV) and the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) award prizes to current, representative projects for the restoration, conservation or maintenance of ecosystems.
Our project team took part in the UN Decade Project Competition on Forest Ecosystems. Within this framework, the Life "Patches & Corridors" project was recognised as a particularly positive contribution to the conservation and restoration of forest ecosystems and their biological diversity. As such, it is published on the UN Decade website here.
You do not have to be part of a Life Project to apply for the UN Project Competition. There are the most subordinate ways to participate. More information is available here.
